PB&P

PB&P

An Unlikely Childhood Favorite
This was my shit when I was kid! I’d rock a peanut butter and pickle sandwich so hard in the cafeteria! Sure, I got made fun of, but who freaking cares. It was a staple in my mom’s life and she passed it down to me.

Turns out, even as adults, people aren’t really opening up to the idea of this sandwich. And this is surprising to me. You guys eat your chocolate with chili peppers, your cheese-flavored ice cream, your bacon and… um… absolutely everything. So why not give this a shot? You may love it. The sour notes of the dill pickle and the sweet and salty peanut butter is remarkable. The juiciness of the pickles add the same sort of texture to a peanut butter sandwich that people desire from adding tomatoes to their grilled cheeses.

FRIENDS, FAMILY, BLOGGERS, FOODIES, COMPLETE AND TOTAL STRANGERS:
I implore you, eat a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. It may change your life. 🙂

PB&P
peanut butter (your fave)
pickle slices (dill)
bread (your fave)

Tips
Shake out the moisture from the pickle slices a little.

Be liberal with your peanut butter.

I prefer a good wheat or whole grain bread for extra nuttiness.

Spread the word of the PB&P.

Enjoy. 🙂
