Cancer Gets LOST 2014

LOST is back. But not really. It is however, living on through the sale of memorable props from the island (and beyond).

Cancer Gets LOST 2014 is an auction of television and movie memorabilia, hosted by BlackSparrow Auctions. It’s going on now through September 27th and there is some amazing shit over there.

If you were a LOST fan, you’re going to want to check this out. Not only can you get your  hands on a can of Dharma Initiative beer, but you’ll be helping raise money for that asshole, cancer, that we all hate.  (Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.)

Love it or hate it, most of you watched it and it was a part of you for six years. You lived on that island with all of those characters and now you can own a little piece of them. There are some great food-related pieces (that inspired me to write about this) like the Dharma Initiative beer (obviously… and also up to $500 already), bottled water, green beans, food can labels, a Dharma Initiative fish biscuit machine, Mr Cluck’s Chicken Shack signs, Apollo dark chocolate tshirt and even art inspired by the Dharma beer that has been signed by Damon Lindelof. Some of this stuff hasn’t even been bid on yet, so get on there and put in your numbers!

In addition to the loads of LOST gear you can score, there are tons and tons of other things. If you’re reading this blog, chances are you’re a fan of one or more of the shows/movies being represented. Everything from a Doctor Who Digital Print, Brienne of Tarth Funko Pop Vinyl (signed) and a print of Khaleesi done in the style of the Golden Books (who doesn’t love Game of Thrones?), some great Breaking Bad art and so, so much more.

Futurama, Community, Fringe, the Following, the Leftovers, Heroes, Disney, Orange Is the New Black, the Stars—both Trek and Wars, the Walking Dead are all being represented… and the list goes on.

So head on over to BlackSparrow Auctions and start fighting cancer with your super nerd powers!

Fontina has an Ohio heart and Philly spunk. She loves giving you recipes for hearty food, pop-culture puns and a hell of a lot of craft beer. You can find her in the kitchen, at the bar, on Twitter or marathoning episodes of Shin Chan or Bob's Burgers online.
