Nutella, Banana & Mascarpone Grilled Cheese (with Honey)

If you’re like me, you can eat cheese for every meal. Serious amounts of cheese. But sometimes after a meal, you need something sweet. Don’t worry, I’ve got that covered. Presenting…

Nutella, Banana & Mascarpone Grilled Cheese (with Honey)

2 slices bread (I used Texas toast because I had it on hand)
1/8 cup mascarpone cheese
2 tbsp of Nutella
1/2 banana, sliced
drizzle of honey
plenty of butter

I shall start off with saying that measurements are approximations. It’s grilled cheese. Eyeball it to your liking.

That being said, butter one side of each slice of bread and flip.

Cover the other side of each slice with a healthy-sized schmear of Mascarpone Cheese.

On one slice, spread the Nutella and place the banana slices on top.

On the other slice, drizzle with honey.

Close’er up and place into a pre-heated iron skillet. (Or any skillet, but man do I love my iron skillet.) Cook over medium heat until golden brown on each side.

Let cool a couple of minutes before cutting. You may use that time to start making another one. You’re going to want it.
