Guac for a Good Cause

Attention my beautiful Philly neighbors! You know MANNA? That organization that you get yummy pies from every Thanksgiving? Did you know that they are awesome? They are an amazing non-profit that helps feed those in need of nutritious meals.

This weekend, Sunday, to be specific, they are having their 2nd Annual Guac Off. It’s your chance to attend and taste the best guacamole (and all the runners up!) in all of Philadelphia. There are a ton of competitors, including last year’s champ Adan Trinidad (of Jose Pistola’s). Also in attendance will be Allison Flam, a 9-year old competitor. How is that for adorable?

So what does your ticket get you? It get’s you tons of guacamole, a vote in the People’s Choice competition AND the joy and happiness of knowing you’re helping an organization that provides nutritionally sound meals to the critically ill. I mean, if you don’t go to this… you’re kind of a dumb AND a jerk. Double whammy, man.

Want the deets? Sure you do, this is the best thing going on on Sunday and you don’t wanna miss it. For starters, get your tix here.

It’s Sunday, June 22nd from 1-4pm.
Tickets are $20 for big humans, $10 for little ones.
It’s at the Sonesta Hotel (1800 Market Street).

Get yo’ green on, friends!
