Mr. Peanutbutter's Puppy Chow

Mr. Peanutbutter’s Puppy Chow

You can ask pretty much any question to determine if you’re a Zoe or a Zelda… but there’s one question that won’t make a damn bit of difference. Do you like peanut butter? Your answer will either be “yes” or “I’m allergic.” There is no other option.

I think that that also goes for Mr. Peanutbutter. You either like him or you’re allergic to him. Or allergic to dogs in general. But Mr. Peanutbutter is the sweetest most genuine character on Bojack Horseman. If you thought the end of season two was a happy one for him and Diane, I’d have to say try again. Mr. Peanutbutter is for too good for her. They are completely mismatched and it’s not just because he’s’ a Zelda and she’s a Zoe.

That’s why he gets his own dish.

Watch Season 3 of Bojack Horseman on Netflix… available tomorrow, Friday July 22nd!

Mr. PB

“I’m such a good team player, I make all the other team players look like garbage.”

Mr. Peanutbutter’s Puppy Chow
5 cups Honey Nut Chex
3 cups Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch
1 cup mini Nutter Butters
½ cup dry roasted peanuts
½ cup mini Reese’s pieces
1 cup peanut butter chips
½ cup peanut butter
¼ cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar

In a large bowl, toss together the first 5 ingredients. Set aside.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter chips, peanut butter and butter. Cover and microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. If there are still lumps, microwave in fifteen second increments and stir until smooth.

Pour mixture of the dry ingredients and mix until coated.

Distribute powdered sugar amongst two gallon-sized freezer bags. Place half of the peanut butter mixture in one and half in the other. Close and shake. Once coated, spread out on wax paper to dry.

Serve to please Zoe and Zelda alike.
